Today, I was looking forward to having Jim white PhD on. And I'm not sure I sent him a message I sent him a follow up. I know, Tracie, I'm sure that you have sent him messages and follow ups as well. So, he's author of what's my purpose. And I was really fascinated to hear about this. He's been a business owner has grown businesses, sold businesses, and really developed a lot of interesting opportunities for people. And regardless of that, we're still here. And just a note to self. If you start live streaming, here's a tip. If you don't start your live stream, seven minutes after it's scheduled to go live on YouTube and Facebook, they'll just shut it off. They’ll cut it off. Done. You're no longer there. So, it's one of those things that you just have to realize and appreciate and say, okay, I'm going to go live, regardless of what happens. So that's just a little tip for live streaming. When you schedule an event, get your bed. So, it's really good to be able to do that. Thank you so much, Mike. There's a lot of echo in your voice for us. It's today during this live shoot, it's Friday, day after Thanksgiving. And I'm grateful for everything that I have going on. And I hope that you do as well. Looking forward to the weekend and taking some breaks and getting caught up and making sure that everything is dialed in. Now I have a few housekeeping efforts that I really need your support and your activity on. Because I just launched, the fact I've been doing this for over a year, and the #PirateSyndicate™. The #PirateSyndicate™ is part of the production that goes into the #PirateBroadcast™. Okay, so I have the #PirateBroadcast™. And also the team. Tracie's on the team. She's my awesome producer, love you, Tracie, thank you so much for all you do. And just keep improving. Hopefully, I won't say too many you knows and likes and things like that. And ums. Cut that out. Stop, Russ. However, the thing that is most important to me is helping more people. And I want to make sure that I have an opportunity to put the word out. And the #PirateSyndicate™ is going to be one of the ways that I do this, helping other people produce their shows, other businesses and organizations, they're starting to realize that instead of push, and broadcasting and just throwing stuff out there, it's we have to go into a mode of intention, having a conversation with a community that we're serving, having an intentional conversation. And the way you do that is you start to engage with your audience, you start to engage with your community, much like we do here on the #PirateBroadcast™. And I have been working really hard to put the pieces of the puzzle together to build an organization that will allow us to include other people in the production side, making sure that everybody's involved and engaged in this activity, and can understand and learn how to produce great content that keeps your audience engaged, and keeps your community, whatever community that happens to be, whether you're a business or you're an organization or nonprofit, and it's really a great way to produce quality content. And the reason I believe this is because I've been doing it for years, I started out in advertising in 1985. So probably before some of you were born, maybe I don't know, just gonna say. And then technology, I've been involved in technology. And when this comes together, and I love solving problems, and bringing these two together, the idea of advertising the idea that community can bring brought together and the idea that communities can be built and produced. It's a great way to develop what you're doing. And it's a great way to produce results with individuals that are in need of community. 2020 hasn't been the best year and I'm just rambling here because I anticipated I'd have a guest. However, what I want, what I'm asking for is if you could go out and follow the company, the #PirateSyndicate™. I just updated my profile yesterday. So maybe you got a notification on LinkedIn, if you're following us on LinkedIn. And I put it out there. So, I'm putting the line in the sand and I'm producing these shows and I'm going to continue to produce these shows in 2021. I anticipate I'm going to help a lot more people create their live streams, support their live events. Put content out there. There's the garbage truck. Who’d want to program a show at the same time the garbage people arrive? So, I'm looking forward to support and also, I would really love it if you would go subscribe to my YouTube channel. That's another area of growth for myself and the #PirateBroadcast™. And also, I'm going to be doing more Two Minute Tips over there. I'm working this weekend on how to actually put together Two Minute Tips in a way that you could receive the information you're looking for. Because some of the Two Minute Tips I create are about, something about technology. Sometimes it's just about an idea, or a concept of, kindness or purpose or inspiration or meaningful content in some way. And sometimes it's just my thoughts. And I just kind of riff on those thoughts. Not everybody needs to receive everything, not everybody wants to receive everything. However, I want to make it more accessible in some unique ways that I'm testing these ways out. So, we'll be talking about a lot of different things. And I just want to, and I think it's a great opportunity to grow the #PirateBroadcast™, #PirateSyndicate™, the community, and engage with others at a new level. Follow the company, I'll be posting more content over there, then go over to YouTube, subscribe to the YouTube channel. So, I can kind of get that dialed in and make sure that works. And I'll continue to evolve that between now and the end of the year and then beyond into 2021. And continue to be able, my goal is to grow this this whole community, help others, and answer me a question if you can. Are you able to? Would you prefer to have a private group, like on a Facebook group because there's a #PirateBroadcast™ group that's on Facebook, or on slack? Or like a platform like Slack, there's a couple of communities that are similar, that you can do a private group where you can actually, it's kind of a safe space where you can talk about things that may not necessarily want to be put in your feed every day. And I just I've seen some unique, #interestingthings out there and building communities and I'm just kind of curious about getting feedback from the community on what the community wants. It's not about me, it's about the community. So, I'm looking forward to hearing what your feedback is. Maybe I'll put out a Q&A or something and share it with the pirates. So, if you're on the on the pirate crew, if you're part of the community, you'll get a notification or at least a note from me saying, hey, just curious. Also, how was your Thanksgiving? How was your Thanksgiving? What was going on with your day? What did you enjoy? What did you do for Thanksgiving? Just relax? For those in the US, it was Thanksgiving. For those from afar, it was probably just another day. I don't know. I spent time with mom and my sister. So that was a good deal, staying safe, staying inside. And then doing some work. Hey, brother, there's Nick. What's going on? Hey, we need to talk because I truly appreciate what you're doing. And I want to give you a shout out. And I just really look forward to the opportunity that we have to continue this conversation online. And eventually, we'll be able to do this in person. , I enjoy traveling. And I'd love to travel to a few cities and meet a few new people face to face and in person. And I just want to make sure that we have an opportunity to do that in the future. And the only way we're going to do that is if we actually create community around it. And make sure that we're going to be doing this together. And I want to put a campaign together to get a pirate crew together. It's like a street crew for musicians, how they get help promote and put things out there, boost things up. So, I'm looking for a street crew for the #PirateBroadcast™, and I have some gifts for you. So, I'm going to be putting that out there as well. Mel and I are working on it. Tracie, the producer, she's working hard in the background, all of these things, is all of these things are just fun to engage with. I love people, and I love helping people. And if you have a desire, I suggest you…now's the time to start something. If you're thinking about something, just start. You don't have to do it perfect. You don't have to do it right. You don't have to do it every day. You just have to get started and find out if it's…here's the thing that I've discovered along my journey is you have this idea and you think, I could do that. I wonder if I could do that. I want to do that. Just try it. Just get started in it. See if you like it, because two things are going to happen. Number one, once you decide that, you learn the whole process of whatever it happens to be, whether it’s content creation, writing a book, creating a live stream, short movies or knitting or crocheting or creating something amazing. Like Jennifer's Lally has. I'm calling, I'm confusing you and Sheri Lally. Oh, you can tell it's still morning. So, the reality is just get started. Put something out there in the world and do it for yourself. You don't have to do it for anyone else. Just know that you did it. So, you won't have any regret knowing that you tried something. And even if you try it and you decide that it's not what you want to do, that's okay. It's still okay. You can definitely appreciate the fact that you took the initiative to go out and do this. And yeah, I love knitting endeavors. And she does amazing work. It's just incredible to watch. So yes, Russ Johns can't wait to get my #PirateBroadcast™ eyepatch. Hey, do I get two for being a two-time pirate for you? Kenyatta, anything. You bet I love that. And the curious thing is that you can build a community. Michael Hubicki, he's here, I could fit 20 Pirates aboard mindset. Let's go. That's it, that's a boat in Toronto. Is it in Toronto, Michael, where you are? And it's amazing to think that there's people around the world that you could be connected with, you can engage with, and you can do some fun stuff, you can do some great projects, and have a great opportunity to be together, hang out, laugh, enjoy life, and really live it. , I was telling somebody the other day is my body is kind of beat up because I beat it up a little bit, here and there. And I appreciate the aches and pains that I have, because it proves that I've lived, it proves that I'm here, I'm alive. And I'm going to continue to enjoy life, I'm continuing to live every day to the fullest, I have a hard time going to sleep because I know that our time here is very short compared to the duration of the universe. It's not even a spot on the map, it's really a brief amount of time that we have to live. And just enjoy what you have, appreciate all the gifts that you have. When you start looking at what you don't have and what you're lacking and scarcity mindset and all that stuff, it just seems to compound it. And when you have an abundant mindset, and you have an opportunity to grow and expand and connect with people that want to support each other, that have a little bit of kindness in their lives. Well, generosity, life just seems to be so much better. And some days you wake up, I'm not gonna lie, sometimes it's a chores. It's a chore and a choice, so you have to just decide that it's gonna be okay. And it typically is. And I love it. I just want to bring a little bit of Joy to the world. And allow a few people to hopefully be inspired and motivated to do something a little more creative. Go out, test the waters. Do something for yourself that helps others. It's a simple equation. It's that easy. So anyway, sorry, Jim. We’ll get Jim rescheduled. There was some confusion on…I'm not sure what the challenge was. However, with many people, life happens, and it's not a big deal.
