Welcome to the #piratebroadcast, where we #interviewinteresting people doing #interestingthings where you can expand your connections, your community. #Kindnessiscool and #smilesarefree. Let's get this party started.

Guess what? It's a solo broadcast. I had a guest, a wonderful guest. I was excited. They were excited. We were excited. We're all excited. What happened was is there's conflict. We rescheduled that guest in the future. Doesn't matter who doesn't matter why. What matters is we're here today and we're here. Talking about a little bit, what is it? #smilesarefree. I hope you're having a fantastic day. If you're here, give us a shout out let me know where you are at in the world and where you're coming from, because it's summertime, we're all kind of in this crazy chaos of between normal and the new normal, or whatever that happens to look like.

Then all of a sudden, there's a bunch of other chaos going on in the world. I think we need to have a little bit of kindness and I want to talk a little bit about what we're doing To take care of ourselves. I'm a caregiver. One of the things that I really thrive on is love of family and the ability and opportunity to spend time with my family. Not everybody is that way. Not everybody has a family that they love and appreciate. It's unfortunate. That's the circumstance. I don't know if you're in one place or another. However, I'd love to see some new perspectives.

Gabriel's here Good day actually enjoy socials. I actually enjoy the solo shows sometimes. Yeah, Gabriel, it allows us the opportunity to have a conversation with community as well. Sometimes when you're with a guest, there's an opportunity that you don't get as much conversation with the community as I repeat myself, kind of over and over. Yeah. Anyway, Gabriel, I know you're having a fantastic day because that's who you are. So, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Glen Partridge. I spent a summer in Afton and I've lived in Evanston, Wyoming. I love Jackson Hole. I've skied Jackson Hole.

Welcome to the pirate broadcast. I know the area. I've been mountain biking there. Skiing have enjoyed the vicinity. Jackson Hole is an amazing place. yeah, little known fact I actually have milk cows in Wyoming, herded sheep, cattle, all kinds of things. So that's a little known fact. Fred Costa Good morning. As always love the fact that you're here. If you're not connected with Fred, make the connection. Everybody in the #piratebroadcast community is one of those shining gems that you need to know. I just really appreciate every each and every one of you. I really love the fact that you have an opportunity to meet and connect with these. I've had over 180 shows here. And a number of guests.

I thought about highlighting each and every one and I thought, well, kind of a rolling stop. You know, if you actually go to rust John's, actually, I probably have this up here at some point in time. Yeah, so connect with me. Also subscribe to my YouTube channel. I know Mr. Gabriel has. He's like we had a conversation he lost To show and the guy is just going crazy. I got to get a few more subscribers over YouTube. If you could do me a solid head over there and take care of that

Well after the show, okay, after the show, so it's really about the opportunity to do this. Gabriel Yeah, I love talking about things I enjoy and no pressure make a big conversation sometimes. Yes, that is true. Some of the thoughts that come in my mind are, well, sometimes they can be scary, and they can be creative. Over the weekend, one thing that I did was I actually created I got back into music. I don't know if you, you probably can't see this but I got a little MIDI controller, a little keyboard here.

I just started creating some music. I got my music, software, all organized and set up again. It was nice and relaxing to be able to create something like that and make it happen. That's something that I'm going to venture into a little bit more. I'm going to go out of my way to, for me, it's therapy, it's self care. It's an opportunity to actually do something outside of my normal range of creativity. However, it's something that I used to be totally focused on years ago. As life happens, it goes back and forth.

Oh, yes, Jimmy. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Absolutely. Where's my cardigan? I love that. In this day and time one of the things that Mr. Rogers said and was famous for was ever time there's a problem every time there's a crisis or something is happening in the world Look for the helpers. Jimmy is a helper. He's is an awesome individual that you need to connect with. He's a solid. He's somebody that you can. Yeah, it's an amazing resource. I look forward to working with you Jimmy on several things. Hopefully we'll get we'll get something rolling forward with that. I appreciate that.

Vicki. O'Neil. Vicki, I love your YouTube channel. I love what she's doing on YouTube. Go over and find Vicki. O'Neil on her YouTube channel and follow her she does her Wednesday shows. Sometimes I'm able to connect her sometimes I have to watch the replay. Always value nuggets of knowledge and it's always an episode that I enjoy. Vicki is just so knowledgeable, and she's so clear and concise in her message and she doesn't have a lot of fluff, a lot of conversation. just ramble like I do. Go follow her. Check it out. Make sure that you're taking taking care of Vicki over there.

Wendy, I heard Wendy is going to do another guest hosting of the made from scratch broadcast. Is that true? Is that true Wendy? premiere world headquarters. Just saying. Where have I been? That's funny, Gabriel. There's lots of places I haven't been out yet. As I say yet. So anyway, yeah. Oh, I can just imagine the sun coming up over over the mountains. I'm in Jackson Hole right now.

Hey, Sherry, lolly. Good morning, Sherry. I hope you're doing well. I know that you had a rush of business and activity and and getting your tags developed and put out there and also some of the barriers and some of the things that people needed. Thanks for pitching in and helping the community out with that. It's amazing to see the ingenuity and industrious activities that you put out there. Thank you for being you. I appreciate it. Yes, on Thursday with Anna, Sabina. I reached out to Anna I should probably follow up with her and see if she might want to be a pirate. I think she's good pirate material. She's not afraid of the camera. She's very conversational.

I know it'll be an awesome show. Look forward to that. If you're not following Gabriel follow Gabriel made from scratch podcast. Is it made from scratch podcast or broadcast? Gabriel? Let me know in the comments. Vicki No, she is way smarter than me. Absolutely. Absolutely. Gabriel that goes for me too. Hey, we all got our skills, Gabriel, you have mad skills as well. We love you. Wendy, please join me love to join. I love Anna. She has a great combination of I like her points that she makes. I like the points that she makes. I like the idea that she actually comes out And she tells the story she is good storyteller. Both Wendy and Gabriel say broadcast so I stand.

I stand in clarity with the made from scratch broadcast. For all of you that were confused as I was momentarily, of course, this is my first cup of coffee row get that squared away. I posted a two minute tips last night with a track that I had created over the weekend. I would love to have you go listen to that, make a comment. If you like it, if you don't like it, it's okay. It's not for everyone. However, it brings up a point that I want to talk about today is the idea that you have an opportunity to learn something new now, with music in myself, I played professionally for years and then life took place and I fell three storeys and shattered my elbow and my wrist and Oh, there you go, Hey, check this out. This is decide to be kind

Decide to be kind. Who's that? Shelley give a shout out to Shelly. Her decided to be kind, and all the people that are kind out there, which is a good thing to do right now. Anyway, I played music. Then life happened. I changed directions and I got back into computers so I could actually learn how to play music. I don't know. Four years ago, maybe I started getting back into music. I started to practice in Ghana. I actually performed in Houston several times and then I took a timeout and life took place. Then I moved to Arizona to care for my family and my parents. Now I'm getting back into music again. My goal is to get back, get effective enough that I can actually perform again and see what happens.

I thought that it would be really cool if I could actually create a track for a two minute tip in 10 minutes or less, and then use that audio in the show as a backdrop because I want to create some minimalist, kind of mellow back music not that I was doing dubstep in Houston, and I want to do that. Something a little more relaxing, I guess. You might say. So anyway, that creative process is is really great.

Wendy, so excited to do the show. You guys are so awesome. I really appreciate the community here. I really appreciate both of you as individuals. One of the things that about this music process, though, is it's not necessarily what you would call run of the, It's not a standard process. One of the things I've been thinking about is like, Okay, well, what is standard? What is it? What is it going to do? What is right for you? Everything's different. It's like, okay, be the disrupter.

Like David. David, my friend, David says, rise above the noise and you have to differentiate yourself around that stuff. Yeah, I could probably get more followers if I worked really hard for it. More subscribers like Gabriel is getting more subscribers which I want to talk to you about that sometime. Gabriel, I want to talk to you about your subscriber, because he's crushing it. I love that. I love talking about it. It's like, Okay, well, how do you grow an audience? How do you grow a community

My life has been very full, very rich and very fulfilling. There are times though, that some self care needs to come in and that's why I'm playing music. That's why I want to create music is a little bit of self care because it's therapy to me. I could get lost for hours, producing music and just creating like that. I don't know what that is for you. I'd love to hear it in the comments what it is for you and yeah, Yes. Quality for followers. It is quality, not quantity for followers. Absolutely Sherry. I love that. Then Gilbert. How's Gilbert? Gilbert is an amazing individual out of Houston. He's been doing custom clothes suits.

Amazing individual that you need to probably check out if you're in Houston and you don't know Gilbert, you should probably track him down because he's awesome. He's an awesome individual that you need to know. I think Gabriel and I had both have inspired by Russ Johns. That is so kind Thank you so much. I really appreciate that Wendy. That is one of the compliments that I love to receive every once in a while. I don't know if this happens to you let me know if this happens to you in the comments is like, just when I need, like, there are days where you're not feeling 100% you're not feeling your level of confidence is not high. You're not really feeling like the direction you're going is exactly where it needs to be.

Then all of a sudden you receive a comment that says, hey, longtime listener, I follow you. I just wanted to drop a comment that says, Thank you for the inspiration you share. That is really amazing. It just gives you that moment of care and consideration and empathy that you need to know that you're moving in the right direction. It's just clues. It's like breadcrumbs along the trail. It's like, Okay, I know this is what I need to do. Like Sherry said, it's not, it's not the quantity of the followers that are just connected because they can, but it's the quality of the interaction that you have with the community that you are developing.

Kevin Kelly said, if you have 1000 true fans, you got you can make a very, very comfortable living and all of these things fall into play when you're thinking about it. It's like, how do I grow? How do I maintain How do I sustain this, this environment? How do I stay creative, and pace myself, so I'm not burning out in six months, because there's a lot of people when I started this pirate broadcasts that were active in Live and they may still be there. However, the algorithm doesn't always share those individuals that they used to and it changes, it's always evolving. You have to go out and you have to foster and nurture those relationships, if you want to maintain them.

My goal this week is to reach out to all of the pirates in the pirate community and make sure that they're okay. Systematically I and I send emails out and I don't always get a response, because I know people are busy. It's just, the process of reaching out and knowing that people appreciate and know that you care enough to say, Hey, how are you doing? What's going on? What's taking place in your world? share a little detail. So that's good. Oh, I really push the YouTube channel not as many followers on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. So you're going for the YouTube you're pursuing the YouTube,

Gabriel, that which is that what I'm hearing? Because I love I love all the platforms equallyand hate them equally more. Although I have to tell you, my organic visits on my website have gone up considerably as my number one sources are direct organic, and I'm not really sure that that's good or bad. If you have thought about that, tell me. Kathy Spooner. Good morning. Using music in therapy is tremendous. I've recently heard a statistic that more and more people are using music to cope with stress these days.

I know that's how I cope with stress. dad's getting to the point where he's, it's just, I'm just gonna say it's challenging. As we evolve and transition from life, it's interesting. Here's another thing, it's when we're born, we know that there's one ultimate outcome. It's part of life is and I encourage everyone to actually take ownership and responsibility for what is taking place in your world. When you prepare for what you're doing, and you you take responsibility for it, there's no victim involved. There's no you know, it's not easy. However, you don't have anyone else to blame. It's a very lonely place.

There's a lot of things that will be solved by that empathy, kindness, curiosity, responsibility, all of these things fall into place. I'm not saying that I'm perfect at any of that. I'm just saying, that's the direction I continue to think about and move toward in my life. As I get older. I look back on all the experiences that I've had amazing experiences and sometimes challenging experiences. I love the idea that we can actually improve our lives by the wealth of experience we have, and the Curiosity we put out in the world and figured out Oh, I wonder how you do that. I wonder what happens and it's really an amazing opportunity to enjoy life.

Join the moment and I could get off on that for a long time however I'm not going to do that on this show today.Yes, there is no mF s be made from scratch. There is no with the #Piratebroadcast. I'm not crystal clear on sure what that means Gabriel but I love you brother. That's all that matters. You absolutely correct me as well. Okay. I use it. Oh Beats Music help motivation concentration. I love that Sherri by Art binocs but I'm not sure how you say that. How is the pronouncing? Yeah, I know what you're talking about.

I love different kinds of music. So thanks sis love you. Resilience is key to positive growth, absolutely positively resilience. I think it was Darwin That said, it's not the strongest that will survive. It's not the quickest, it's not the fastest. It's the ones that are most resilient, most adaptable to change. It's the ones that can can actually be in a situation and adapt and evolve through that situation. I think that goes at all levels in life. It's one of those things that you really have to understand that it's not what happens to you. It's how you react to what happens to you. You can see it all around you. It's like, you know, everybody's at each other's throat and it's polarizing.

It's not progress. I think there's a lot of really productive conversations that have to take place. However, conversation, and solutions are not the same as argument and conflict. That's a tweetable. Just saying. So anyway, let's see. There's no made from scratch broadcasts without the #piratebroadcasts. Got it? All right. It's like that makes it so much more sense. made from scratch broadcast. All right. I knew what that meant, but I wasn't sure what to compare. Happy morning. Have a lovely week pirates. frothy. Thank you so much.

Good morning Russello. We can talk to the hands. Love that. Thank you, Kathy. I really appreciate you. I really appreciate all of you and this means a lot to me and I truly do appreciate the pirate community and everything that you stand for. It's all about kindness, empathy, being aware of what people are doing around you anddoing something in a positive way.

So anyway, I just wanted to drop this solo show, let you know that I get this new thing coming up. We got a few minutes left. I want to talk about it because it's important. I've been doing this show the pirate broadcasts for months. Well, over 180 episodes, so five days a week, how long is that? I don't know. I didn't, I wasn't required to do math on this show. That's what I was told. I created this #thepiratesyndicate. so others can do this. So I'm putting this out there. I'm putting this out there more and more. It's basically I'm doing all of the production, the promotion, the social media, the streaming, the production of the graphics, the illustration, the strategy for the show. Once we get it all set up, the only thing you have to do is show up

I think It's important to share this because right now, there's a lot of people that are really working in their genius zone. They're growing their teams, they're growing their business, they're growing out and expanding in this challenging time we were living in. For those that are taking the initiative, to use video, to power their marketing efforts to get in front of the client to make sure that they're pursuing a connection, building their community. I think they're going to take advantage of a lot of this, this confusion that's taken place in the hesitancy that businesses are in right now. It's like, Okay, well, we got to put everything on hold. My argument is if you're stopping your marketing efforts, you're going to cause your own self some problems. I created #thepiratesyndicate. I actually created#thepiratesyndicate before, long before COVID

I've been developing this thing. I want to share it with you a little bit more and let you know that I'm going to be pursuing this. Ifyou're interested in having a conversation about it, or you want to know a little bit more about it, let me know, drop in the comments, wherever you happen to be. I'd love to schedule some time and have conversation with you on that. That's one thing that I'm going to be building out and broadcasting and bringing to the table. So Oh, so a bolo in Hindi. Hindi means solo said.

I like that. I like that. I've been doing this since last September. Yes. Yes, September. That is cool. Yeah. Hey George. How you doing? Love it. Live Stream. If you need help with the workload, I am freelance video or live streaming producer. I may have to take you up on that. Gabriel

We'll continue to have conversations around that because it's important. I know it's gonna continue to grow and evolve. It's absolutely amazing how how it can be produced. How's it going with happy morning all the pirates? Oh, you bet. I appreciate the fact that you're here. Thank you so much for being here. I really. I'm just so humbled by the fact that I'm here. You're here. Here, and we're doing this thing. know

I know it takes a lot of time out of your day and I appreciate the time and effort you bring to the table. I'm also committed to bringing value. This week we have a tremendous amount of value coming to the shows this week. There's some guests that are in in place.I like the way Vicki O'Neill has been pursuing her promotions and a couple of other things. Also, Brenda Mellor has been doing it I've been noticing those things and so I'm going to change it up a little bit. I just have not taken the time to do that. I will be doing that. I will be continuing to do my #TwoMinuteTips in the evening. I'm not streaming it live of streaming it live to YouTube.

That's the easiest way for me to get it there. Then I'm setting up my podcasts, I'll set up my podcast for my #TwoMinuteTips as well. Just to make sure the workflow is there and going, actually have a call with some people about that today. Then as the team continues to support the pirate broadcast, like I shared, we'll be producing other shows on #thepiratesyndicate, produce another episodes for other people got some new shows coming out. I do have Boris who's doing the nonprofit Hero Factory every Thursday. if you can check that out, that would be fantastic. love to have you share that out and listen in. He's got some great guests in the nonprofit space that are doing well. Just keep growing. keep creating, keep on evolving.

More than anything, let's stick together in the community and make sure that we're helping each other out. Because you know what I'm talking about. Oh, here's some other comments. Yeah, this is saved. Okay. Yeah, Angie, great point. I've been having this podcast out here. It's on Spotify. It's on Apple. It's on iTunes. It's on I Heart Radio. It's on Google Play. It's on Stitcher, it's on all the platforms. I would love it if you would go leave a review on go leave a review on Apple because that's where it makes the most sense at this point in time.

Please, if you don't like it, leave a review. If you do like it, leave a better review. I'm okay with five stars. That works for me. I love it And love learning remember my collection calls from a team I had to click between two seven do collection calls. love learning. Learn Spanish that way he What do you think the best elements are for their posts and content? What do you think the best elements are for their posts and content?

Wendy comments are for their posts in their content. I'm sorry, I must be behind. I'm not sure what I was talking about when you asked that question. So ask me in the DM. Oh, Wendy, you're so special. Thank you so much. I love you all even five star review. I'll do the same, because your podcast is awesome. So and it's just takes, it does take time, and I appreciate it and all the consideration and everything that's going on in the day. So, anyway, I'm way over time.

I want to make sure that I'm considerate of your time as well. So, as you know, #kindnessiscool. #smilesarefree, and you #enjoytheday.

Thank you for joining the #piratebroadcast. If you found this content valuable, please like, comment and share it across your social media channels.
